Our Graduates into Teaching Pathway offers an exceptional opportunity to gain paid, hands‑on experience as a Teaching Assistant in schools across North Tyneside. Role and Responsibilities
  • Support pupils both in small groups and one‑to‑one across secondary, SEN, and primary schools.
  • Work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to deliver high‑quality learning experiences.
  • Gain practical classroom experience while developing essential skills in behaviour management, lesson planning, and pupil support.
  • Be placed in schools close to your home for convenience.
What We're Looking For
  • A degree in any subject with a minimum 2:2 classification (or predicted).
  • GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude in a fast‑paced school environment.
  • A genuine passion for education and working with young people.
  • Two referees we can contact as part of the application process.
  • A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
