A leading public-sector organization in Belfast is seeking a dedicated Systems Support Officer to join its project team delivering a new allocations module and Customer Applicant Portal. This full-time role involves configuring, testing, and implementing systems while working closely with business teams and IT suppliers. Location: Belfast City Centre Office, hybrid
Contract Duration: 3+ months
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm)
Hourly Rate: £16.37 - circa £31.5k pa
This is a great opportunity to get some project experience within a leading public‑sector organisation who are seeking a dedicated Systems Support Officer to join its project team responsible for delivering a new allocations module and Customer Applicant Portal. This Systems Support Officer role will support system configuration, testing and implementation, helping to ensure successful delivery of key project outcomes.
As a Systems Support Officer, you will collaborate with business teams, IT suppliers and project stakeholders to support system enhancements and ensure requirements are accurately met. You will contribute to system development activities and assist in the rollout of new processes integral to the project.
Support configuration, testing and implementation of system components.
Work with internal and external partners to translate business needs into system requirements.
Assist in identifying system improvements and ensuring technical solutions align with project objectives.
Contribute to collaborative project delivery as part of the wider implementation team.
To be considered for the Systems Support Officer position, applicants must have:
A degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Strong experience in systems support / management.
Experience supporting requirements for, or contributing to, new IT system implementation or enhancements.
