Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.

Brief Job Description

This is your chance to work for the UKs premier test engineering company who supply cutting-edge test and measurement solutions to some of the world’s leading high-tech manufacturers. This role will report directly to the Engineering Leader and forms a key part of the Engineering Team.

The successful candidate will be tasked with taking engineering requirements from customers and designing bespoke software solutions that are able to be delivered within time and cost constraints. This will involve interfacing with both commercial off the shelf (COTS) components as well as custom designed interfaces, LabVIEW and other software programs. The role will involve the creation of system concepts, bespoke software and fault finding. This important role will provide an opportunity to design and engineer a wide range of bespoke products which allows our client’s customers to benefit from our high quality engineered solutions that are consistently delivered on time, in full. Candidates must be self-motivated and have a passion for engineering, delivering projects on time and be keen to gain experience designing, developing, testing and commissioning a wide range of equipment.

Responsibilities

Essential Criteria

  • Experience using C/C++
  • Previous experience of the aerospace and defence industry
  • Proven track record of designing bespoke test equipment
Hours and Benefits

37.5 hours a week flexi time. Start anytime from 7am - 10am. 9am - 3pm on a Friday
