What will you be doing

We’re looking for a System Design Engineer to join a high‑profile defence project contributing to the design of safety‑critical control systems in line with aerospace standards. If you’re passionate about solving complex technical challenges and making a real impact we’d love to hear from you.

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Support Preliminary & Critical Design Reviews
  • Review and validate design changes and software high‑level requirements
  • Develop control system requirements for airborne applications
  • Conduct FMEA/FMECA and safety analysis
  • Apply ARP4754 DO-178B/C and DO-254 guidance in a regulated environment
  • Represent systems engineering in cross‑functional reviews
Who are we looking for
  • Comfortable writing and reviewing system/software requirements
  • Skilled in root cause analysis lifecycle impact and change validation
  • Experience with model‑based systems and digital engineering toolsets
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly across teams
  • Knowledge of safety analysis techniques (FMEA FMECA)

Qualifications

Experience skills and qualifications required:
