A leading recruitment firm seeks a Systems Engineer in Portsmouth to support the UK's Armed Forces. The role requires a degree-level expertise in systems engineering or a related field and involves executing engineering activities, supporting project management, and developing simulation environments. As a System Engineer, you will have an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference to the UK's Armed Forces. You will be part of the Synthetic Test Environments and Analysis Tools Service (STEATS) team that operates within Naval Combat Systems Integration Support Service (NCSISS) to develop and provide the network and software environments necessary for the delivery of the project.
Day-to-day, as a member of the STEATS team, you will operate within a team of system and software engineers in support of the NCSISS contract. You will be required to conduct activities as directed by the STEATS Project Manager, working in partnership with the STEATS Technical Lead to ensure a consistent approach to the design, delivery, and support of our products and services in accordance with a Through Life Management Plan.

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Portsmouth site. Hybrid working patterns are available. Travel to other QinetiQ and customer sites will be expected.
