A leading aerospace manufacturer based in Bristol is looking for a Safety & Reliability Specialist to review system designs and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role requires a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and experience in safety processes. The team of around 70 safety engineers is based in five separate locations around Europe and is accountable for the safety activities (functional and physical) for all Airbus aircraft systems.
The Safety & Reliability team is key in ensuring that systems architectures and their integration on the aircraft comply with the latest airworthiness regulations and safety processes.
As a system safety & reliability specialist, you will play an integral part in ensuring that all Airbus products are developed, designed, produced and supported according to the state‑of‑the‑art and the relevant safety standards (associated to airworthiness regulations).
The safety specialist role will be primarily focused on ATA 28 and 32 systems, as well as associated particular risks such as Wheel and Tire Failure and Fuel Tank Safety. As part of the role, you will do the following activities:
