Qualifications

• Confident in cutting, deboning, trimming, and portioning a wide range of meats.
• Highly proficient and safety-conscious with all cutting tools.
• Strong understanding of meat quality, freshness, and provenance.
• Friendly, engaging, and confident in advising customers and taking orders.
• Excellent knowledge of hygiene, safety, and compliance standards.
• Experience in inventory control, ordering, and waste reduction.
• Skilled in creating attractive, well-merchandised displays.
• Experience in sausage making, curing, and smoking is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote sustainable farming practices when engaging with customers.
• Champion the quality, provenance, and freshness of meat products.
• Maintain an attractive, high-standard butchery counter and displays.
