With a diverse portfolio of public infrastructure solutions and services, and iconic locations, we connect brands and partners with audiences in creative and innovative ways.

Using data analytics and programmatic capabilities, we provide tailored advertising experiences and measurable insights that help our partners reach the right audiences, deliver impact and drive engagement.

We are a platform for brands and a platform for good. We are focused on delivering more impact for advertisers, more value for communities, inspiring social change, and less impact on the planet. Bauer Media Outdoors’s advertising opportunities are in everyday spaces where people live, work, and travel, providing a highly impactful platform to build brands.

About the role….

As Sustainability Data Analyst, you will turn environmental data into clear insights that support Bauer Media Outdoor Europe’s Carbon Net Zero ambitions.

You will lead the annual environmental data collection process across our European markets, support ESG reporting, and help track progress against our Science-Based Targets. Working closely with teams across the business, you will use high-quality GHG emissions data to inform decision-making, support carbon reduction planning, and build confidence in how we measure and report our environmental impact.

You will also act as an internal sustainability expert, helping colleagues understand our impact and progress, and supporting the delivery of meaningful, data-led sustainability initiatives across Europe.

What you’ll be doing….
Environmental data & reporting
  • Lead the annual environmental data collection process across Europe, including training colleagues and ensuring robust data validation.
  • Monitor and report progress against GHG reduction targets, KPIs and external benchmarks, including submissions to the Science-Based Targets initiative.
  • Continuously improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and the efficiency of data collection systems and tools.
  • Manage sustainability data systems, working closely with Tech Europe and external suppliers.
  • Translate data into clear insights that inform business decisions and carbon reduction planning.
Sustainability engagement & expertise
  • Support and develop Bauer Media Outdoor Europe’s Sustainability Champions network across 12 markets.
  • Create and deliver engaging internal communications, including newsletters, workshops and guidance materials.
  • Act as a trusted internal sustainability advisor, embedding environmental considerations into projects, operations and annual carbon reduction planning.
  • Stay up to date with sustainability trends and share insights with the wider Sustainability team.
Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is curious, organised and confident working with data. You do not need to have all the answers, but you do need a strong willingness to learn and a genuine motivation to help us improve how we measure and reduce our environmental impact.

You will bring:
  • A genuine interest in sustainability and environmental topics, with a basic understanding of climate change and carbon reduction challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail, with experience handling, analysing or presenting data (from work, study or voluntary projects).
  • Confidence using spreadsheets or data tools such as Excel, Power BI or Google Sheets.
  • A methodical approach, with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
Desirable (but not essential):
  • Some understanding of greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
  • Experience contributing to sustainability or environmental projects in a professional, academic or voluntary setting.
What's in it for you?

We offer a great team to be a part of a home for your individuality, as well as a place to bring fresh ideas and to grow and develop. We have a fun and informal culture while also being a future-facing business that wants to make a difference. So, Bring you. Shape us.

  • Salary of £35,000-£40,000 DOE + Annual core bonus
  • Flexible working (typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home), with some travel required across Europe
  • 25 days’ paid holiday, plus bank holidays
  • 2 volunteering days to dedicate time to a charity or cause of your choice
  • Company Pension Scheme matched up to 8%
  • Healthcare Cash Plan
  • Life Insurance and group income protection scheme
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Travel/Season ticket loans and a whole host of discounts across 100s of retailers
  • Social events
