Qualifications

Overview

Do you have strong knowledge of environmental management and sustainable development? Does the opportunity to work for a market-leading, established family business appeal?

A well-known manufacturing company in Renfrewshire is currently looking to add a Sustainability Coordinator to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be reporting directly to the Operations Manager and have autonomy to develop the sustainable and environmental agenda for the business.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development and delivery of the business’ sustainability strategy, identifying gaps and offering solutions
  • Work closely with operational teams on environmental and sustainable matters
  • Manage organisation’s environmental management documentation
  • Build and maintain relationships with key regulators, customers, suppliers and contractors
  • Investigate and report on environmental incidents
What you’ll need (Qualifications)
  • Experience within similar environmental management/sustainability role
  • Proficient in various Microsoft packages
  • Environmental science/environmental management qualification would be beneficial
Role details

The role is offered on a Monday-Friday basis with a negotiable salary, and is based on-site at the company HQ in Hillington. We are ideally looking for a February/March start date, therefore early applications would be welcome with interviews offered swiftly for candidates possessing the right experience.
