The role of the Sustainability Platform Lead is essentially about being a technical guide who helps integrate sustainability into the technology platforms and systems at HSBC. This involves using your broad experience across different technology areas to find practical solutions that can be applied now and in the future. You'll act like an internal consultant, using your technical skills to understand various options and turn strategic ideas into actionable plans that make our technology choices more sustainable. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for creating a long‑term plan and framework to ensure sustainability is a key part of our technology design moving forward. This role is ideal for someone with a background in technology consulting, architecture, or engineering.
