Job description

We are seeking an experienced Surfacing Manager to join our team delivering car park surfacing projects across the UK.

OUTSIDE IR35

Role Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day surfacing operations across multiple car park projects nationwide
2. Coordinate site teams, plant, materials, and subcontractors to meet programme deadlines
3. Ensure works are carried out to specification, on time, and within budget
4. Uphold strict health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times
5. Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates
6. Oversee both day and night shifts, as well as occasional Sunday working

Requirements:

• Strong background in Civils and Surfacing
• SMSTS certification essential
• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management - desirable
• Proven ability to manage teams on fast-paced, multi-site projects
• Flexibility to work nationwide with varying shift patterns
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
