Supported Housing Workers – Role Overview

One YMCA is expanding rapidly and has recently refurbished our Hatfield & Welwyn Garden City hostels. We’re looking for Supported Housing Workers to provide safe person‑centred support to residents, helping them achieve independence and improve their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents to identify goals in accommodation, health, wellbeing, education and employment.
  • Deliver personalised support plans and life‑skills guidance.
  • Provide advocacy, mediation and motivation to empower residents.
  • Develop move‑on plans and support transitions into independent housing.
  • Ensure safe, high‑quality accommodation and maintain records.
