Meet the person you will be supporting:

  • Who am I? I could be between 16 - 18 years old, any gender.
  • What challenges do I have? I may have adverse childhood experiences; I need understanding, not judgment. My behavior stems from my experiences, and I need you to be robust and understanding.
  • Where do I live, and how do I get around? Our home is in Liverpool, a solo placement in a 2 or 3-bed home with 24/7 support. The team focuses on one home to understand and meet the young person's needs. The homes are furnished to a high standard and well maintained.

The team:

  • What are my team trained on? All staff undergo mandatory training: Safeguarding, H&S, First Aid, Lone Working, Boundaries, Fire Warden, Challenging Behaviour, and ACEs.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Possesses good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Can listen effectively to young people and colleagues.
  • Remains calm under pressure when managing challenging behaviors.
  • Is consistent with routines and boundaries.
