A support service provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Support Worker/Personal Care Assistant to assist a child with disabilities. Details: This role is to support a child.
Hours per week: 2 hours on a weekday after school (preferably a Wednesday but could be another day) plus 2 hours on a Saturday morning (e.g. 9:00–11:00). More hours may be available during school holidays.
Hourly pay rate: £12.21
Employment status: Employed
You would be required to take the child to activities such as swimming, movies, eating out, and the park. Some work in the home may also be required. Prompting and supporting with using the toilet is also required. The child has no risk awareness and must be kept safe and supervised at all times.

Please note: if successful, you will be engaged directly or employed by the individual employer (not by Independent Lives). The role may be offered on an employed or self-employed basis, depending on suitability and agreement with the employer. If employed, you will be entitled to holiday pay and issued an employment contract.
