A leading social care provider in the United Kingdom is looking for Support Workers to assist the elderly in their Extra Care Scheme. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, helping residents with mobility, and facilitating social activities. The role offers flexible shifts and competitive pay rates starting at £12.50 per hour. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who believe in the dignity and respect of individual care.
Are you considering a career in Care? Or are you an experienced Carer who believes in kindness, compassion and respect? Joining the Radis family means that you share our belief in the quality of care that we provide. These beliefs are our 'Values' and are at the heart of everything we do to ensure that our role always makes a positive impact on people’s lives.
Radis Community Care is looking for dedicated and resilient people like you to work in our Meadow Green Extra Care scheme in Heckmondwike right now. If you want to be part of our Radis family then this is how you can be…
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme you will be supporting the elderly who are finding it difficult to cope due to physical frailty, enabling them to maintain their individuality and vital independence. You’ll help residents with restricted mobility to move to dining areas at meal times, communal areas for social activities and to the privacy of their bedrooms and bathrooms at their request.
You’ll help them with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. This will mean you’ll understand the importance of privacy and dignity—so important to everyone. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by being part of the recreational and social activities with residents, and as a group.
And always with a kind smile and a supportive word, even when sometimes a day is challenging!
Shifts: 06:30 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 (working every other weekend as part of your rota)
Pay Rates: Week Days £12.50 per hour; Weekend Days £12.80 per hour
