Job description

Care assistant required for care home for elderly residents. Double time on Public and Bank holidays. Level 2. Level 3 attracts further enhanced rate. Sunday enhancement.

If you have no previous care experience we can support you to achieve Level 2 in Health and Social Care, after which you will have the opportunity to complete Level 3 in Health and Social Care, where you will receive an enhanced payment in hourly rate.

Duties

• Assisting residents with washing and dressing, bathing, medication administration
• Serving meals, preparing drinks and light teas
• Providing companionship and escort to appointments when required
• Working within a small team of dedicated carers
• Participating in trips to the cinema and lunch in town, as our residents enjoy getting out and about

Shifts

• 07:30 – 15:00
• 15:00 – 20:30

Alternate weekends. Three or four days available. Sunday enhancement of hourly rate.

Four shifts per week, with option to cover annual leave and pick up additional shifts.
