An organization in community services is seeking a Reablement Support Worker to assist individuals in maintaining independence at home. This role offers flexibility, full training, and the opportunity to earn while making a difference in the community. Home First provides short-term reablement care to help people stay independent in their own homes. As a Reablement Support Worker, you will be part of a caring, dedicated team making a real impact in your community.

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you’ll build and maintain positive relationships with customers and their family carers, promoting health, wellbeing, and independence.
You will support individuals through personalised care plans and short-term enablement strategies, offering guidance to help them make informed choices.
At times, you will assist with dignified personal care needs and engage with customers and carers to explore alternative ways of meeting long-term needs.
You will also promote services that enable safe, independent living at home, monitor progress against care plans, and maintain accurate records to support ongoing reviews.

Flexible hours and salary
Full time or flexible part time hoursavailable from 7.5 hours - 37 hours per week, worked on an early, late shift rota including alternate weekends Bank flexible casual hoursavailable (paid at £15.08per hour), evening and/or weekend working only is available on some contracts.
We offer a variety of shift patterns, including early (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) and late (2:30 PM – 10:30 PM). For those on a 16-hour flexible contract, shorter shifts are also available: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM. All full shifts include a 30-minute unpaid, unallocated break. Whether you prefer mornings, evenings, or flexible hours, we have options to fit your schedule and help you achieve a great work-life balance.
The salaryfrom £25,185 per annum comes with performance-related pay progression and potential earnings up to £28,142per annum (pro rata for part time).
What you will receive
This role involves travelling to peoples’ homes in rural locations and driving in various weather conditions, including during hours of darkness, which may occur early in the morning or late in the evening. You will therefore require a valid driving licence and access to a car.
