You will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs. Where you'll be working: Elizabeth Court - Dorchester. This is a 16 bed supported living service in the centre of Dorchester close to all local amenities and transport links, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health and complex needs. Offering supporting living, encouraging and enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and accessing the local community & facilities. We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, to continue delivering outstanding outcomes, Supporting - Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting. Communicating - effectively communicate using people's chosen methods. Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life. Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches. Recording - keeping accurate records & reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management.
