A leading housing support organization in Ryde is looking for a Support Worker to join their dedicated team. In this permanent full-time position, you will provide essential housing-related support to young people aged 16-30 to help them achieve independent adulthood. The Foyer on the Isle of Wight provides young people who are facing homelessness with a safe place to live, learn and make the transition to independent adulthood.
We have an opportunity for a Support Worker to join the team on a full time permanent basis.
The starting salary is £24,493 - £27,000 depending on experience.
You'll be working within a skilled team providing housing related support to young people aged 16-30. We work in partnership with our young people to help them navigate and choose options around housing, education, and employment while respecting their right to choice and control in their decisions.
The support worker role covers a rolling rota pattern with some requirement for evening and weekend working.
An enhanced DBS checks will be undertaken for the successful candidate.
