A community support organization in Pentraeth seeks a Female Support Worker to assist individuals with learning disabilities. The role involves empowering clients to make their own choices, offering practical support, and enhancing their well-being. No experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. Ideal candidates should possess patience, strong communication skills, and a full driving license. As a Female Support Worker in Pentraeth and Bodffordd on the Isle of Anglesey, you’ll help make the everyday remarkable for the people we support. We are dedicated to supporting those with learning disabilities to live a fulfilled and enriched life in the community, as a Support Worker, you can play a vital role in this.
Role: Female Support Worker
Location: Pentraeth and Bodffordd on the Isle of Anglesey
Hours: 16 hours a week, including days, evenings, weekends, short and long shifts. Your shift pattern will include sleep-ins.
Salary: £12.74 per hour and our sleep-in shifts at £60 per night and our travel expenses is paid 45p per mile

You’ll work across three services supporting five ladies in total with varying needs, including two with hearing impairment who use makaton. In this role, you’ll actively support individuals in making their own choices and set their own goals — whether it’s everyday decisions like what to wear, eat, or do, or something bigger such as where to live, how to manage their finances, or where to go on holiday. As a trusted Support Worker, you'll empower people to follow through on these choices, including taking part in structured activities that build confidence and develop new skills. You’ll also offer practical support to help them meet responsibilities like paying bills, maintaining their homes, being good neighbours, and staying connected with friends and family. Your goal is to makeeveryday remarkablethrough enhancing well-being and focusing on the small, meaningful moments that bring joy and purpose.
