This role is based in a warm and welcoming service that currently supports four individuals with learning disabilities, with a fifth person joining soon. You’ll support people to enjoy a wide range of activities, including:
You’ll also support individuals to stay active in the community and maintain their physical health. A full UK manual driving licence is essential, as you’ll be helping with transport to activities and appointments.
Every day is different, and you’ll be part of a team that empowers people to make choices, build independence, and enjoy life on their own terms.
At Community Integrated Care, we believe that the right values are more important than experience. That’s why we welcome people from all walks of life‑whether you’ve worked in care before, supported a loved one, or are simply looking for a meaningful new career.
We’re looking for individuals who bring a caring nature and a mature, thoughtful outlook to their work. You’ll be someone who is patient, empathetic, and compassionate in your approach, with the resilience and determination to support people through both joyful and challenging moments. Honesty and reliability are key, and we value those who can think on their feet, solve problems calmly, and always put the people we support first.
