Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role

This role is based in a warm and welcoming service that currently supports four individuals with learning disabilities, with a fifth person joining soon. Each person has their own unique personality, interests, and support needs‑and they’re looking for someone like you to help them live life to the fullest.

You’ll support people to enjoy a wide range of activities, including:

  • Visiting zoos, theme parks, and football matches
  • Going to the cinema, pantomimes, and swimming
  • Exploring interests in trains, airplanes, music, and dancing
  • Getting creative with arts and crafts
  • Cooking and enjoying good food together

You’ll also support individuals to stay active in the community and maintain their physical health. A full UK manual driving licence is essential, as you’ll be helping with transport to activities and appointments.

Every day is different, and you’ll be part of a team that empowers people to make choices, build independence, and enjoy life on their own terms.
