A leading support services provider in Gorleston-on-Sea is recruiting a Support Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred care in the NR31 Great Yarmouth area. Candidates must have full working rights in the UK and experience supporting clients with special needs such as Acquired Brain Injury. This role offers £12.35 per hour, weekend pay increases, and comprehensive training to enhance your skills and career.

Job description

VP Forensic are recruiting for a support worker role in the NR31 Great Yarmouth area. This role is open to UK residents only; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities
  • Providing high quality person-centred support to clients
  • Supporting clients in working toward their rehabilitation/development goals
  • Moving and handling clients via hoisting
  • Assisting with daily living tasks and engaging in fulfilling and meaningful activities
  • Providing support to access the community in engaging and fun ways
  • Personal care and physical support in a dignified and respectful way
  • Working under the supervision and guidance of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Managing complex behaviour and risk presented
Requirements

  • Motivation to make a difference to clients
  • Experience supporting clients with an Acquired Brain Injury and Complex Behaviours, or other relevant care experience to meet a specific level of knowledge
