A support services organization in Dudley is seeking a Support Worker to empower young people aged 16-18. In this part-time role, you will provide emotional and practical assistance, promote life skills, and support young individuals in achieving independence. Ideal candidates will have a passion for helping vulnerable populations and hold either a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care. Join a dedicated team focused on making a meaningful impact in young people's lives.
Hours: Part-time (Minimum 18 hours per week / 3 shifts per week including evenings and weekends)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Our client provides supported living services in Halesowen which provides care and support for young people aged 16 - 18 years across 10 individual apartments along with a dedicated Mother and Baby Unit. They work with young adults who have experienced trauma family breakdown or adverse childhood experiences helping them to build independence stability and positive futures.
As a Support Worker you will play a key role in supporting young people to achieve their personal goals develop life skills and transition towards independent living. You will work closely with the Deputy Manager and other team members to deliver person-centred support within a safe nurturing environment.
