Overview

Support Worker - Glynneath - Full time - 39 hours a week plus sleep-ins. Hourly Rate £12.60 to £12.80 per hour (plus £55 per sleep in) dependent on qualifications and experience (Driver essential).

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
  • Being a positive role model.
  • Promoting independence by supporting a range of social, school and work-based activities.
  • Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
  • General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.

Qualifications and attributes

  • To hold a current valid driver’s license.

  • Ability to be reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
