Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely decanting and dispatch of all incoming cargo.

  • Liaise effectively with transport to ensure safety in dispatch.
  • Participate in safety briefings and suggest improvement measures.

Responsible for ensuring that all return cargo returned to Dispersals is decanted and dispatched safely in a timely manner, with all applicable documentation to external vendors and system updated to reflect. Duties include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Decant all CCUs and dispatch to vendor ensuring all items are safe for road transportation, have applicable documentation and are allocated within the system.
  • Verify that all returned items are as manifested with no discrepancies.
  • Take photographs of returning units and cargo where mixed items are apparent.
  • Accurately record all discrepancies and raise non‑conformances and raise SID as applicable.
  • Liaise with Transport Controllers and Drivers to ensure safe and timely dispatch of HCRs, Priority and General items to vendors.
  • Confirm dangerous goods documentation is correct and labelling conforms with ADR requirements where applicable.
  • Attend and participate in pre‑job briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Attend and actively contribute to monthly safety meetings.
  • Ensure knowledge and understanding of procedures, work aids and risk assessments pertaining to the role, suggest improvements or updates as applicable.
  • Perform any other ad‑hoc duties as required in line with applicable training/competency matrix and certification held.
  • Ensure worksite is maintained in clean and tidy condition, both externally and internally.

Desirable Qualifications/Competencies
  • Previous operational/logistics experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation.
