A healthcare provider in Wales seeks a caring and enthusiastic individual for a part-time Support Services Assistant role. You will work 16 hours a week at Newtown Hospital, assisting with the delivery of hotel services and maintaining compliance with standards. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team. Previous cleaning experience is advantageous, but training will be provided. We require a caring and enthusiastic individual to work part time as a Support Services Assistant within the Domestic team.
This is a 16 hour post working Monday to Sunday.
This post will be based at Newtown Hospital.
You will need to be self‑motivated, have a flexible approach to work, be able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
There will be the expectation, when required, to clean in other departments.
Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
You will support the local delivery of hotel services domestic and associated facilities activities, ensuring that they are delivered at the levels agreed and that they meet with full compliance with all appropriate legislation and local policies and procedures. You will need to be self‑motivated, have a flexible approach to work, be able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
