A community support organization in Benfleet is looking for a full-time Support Assistant to provide person-centred care for residents with disabilities. This role involves maintaining records, developing relationships, and working flexibly to meet the needs of the service users. Female candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role. Due to the nature of the role and customer group, please note we are only able to accept applications from female candidates. There will be variety in your day‑to‑day role alongside excellent training. This home supports 3 service users and offers private off‑road parking with good local transport links available too. You will support the residents by offering person‑centred support and a choice of daily activities to provide a fulfilled and meaningful quality of life.
Our services do require 24‑hour support and staff are expected to work some bank holidays and weekends in line with the services needs but flexibility can be discussed at interview stage. Full training will be provided, someone new to the sector can fulfil this role following a successful interview, we will then support the successful applicant to complete the Care Certificate within their probation.
