Support Administrator (temporary)
  • £14.50 - £16.50 per hour (DOE)
  • Based in Dorking
  • Temporary assignment until Christmas, possibly longer
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Role Overview

During a very busy period, our client is seeking temporary support to assist with all departments, including HR and Finance.

Job Description
General Support
  • Monitoring shared inboxes
  • Typing up confidential meeting notes and recording on relevant software
  • Answering the phone and responding to queries
  • Writing letters
  • Collating responses from feedback questionnaires
  • Create helpsheets/guides for staff
  • Setting up online forms to collate feedback from staff, collating this into a professional format
  • Organising files on Google Drive
  • Input of data and assessment data into Google Sheets
  • Assist with arranging meetings and booking meeting rooms
  • The ability to carry out a range of other administrative duties, filing, photocopying, typing etc.
HR Support
  • Organising files on Google Drive
  • Scanning and filing
  • Administration support for recruitment, contracts
  • Assist with arranging meetings and booking meeting rooms
  • In all dealings and at all times ensure complete confidentiality
  • The ability to carry out a range of other administrative duties, filing, photocopying, typing etc.
Finance Support
  • Transactional accounting in Xero accounting software
  • Set up new supplier accounts
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Check supplier statements to reconcile supplier accounts, contacting suppliers if any discrepancies
  • Support the Head of Finance & Operations e.g. with cash‑flow reporting, budget monitoring, analysis, etc
  • Perform other balance sheet reconciliations as required
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Finance and Operations
Person Specification
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Some finance experience, ideally with knowledge of Xero
  • Experience of using Google Drive
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
