Primary Teaching Assistant - Randstad Education

Contract: Term-Time Only - Full-Time or Part-Time

Randstad Education is looking for passionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join our network of schools in East Grinstead. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting both teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive and engaging classroom experience.

Your Key Duties:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities

  • Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere

  • Assist with behaviour management and maintaining structure

  • Help organise teaching resources and classroom materials

  • Support children with special educational needs (SEN)

  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and other activities

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting

  • A caring, patient, and encouraging approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Relevant education or childcare qualifications are desirable but not essential
