Job Title: Supply Teachers needed for September!

Location: Birmingham

Start Date: September

West Midlands/ temporary / £170 - 200 per day

Responsibilities

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of SEND school’s in the Birmingham area supporting with their recruitment for SEND Teachers. Each setting is centred on pupil’s development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills.

The Schools are looking for passionate team player’s to take on this short-term role, although there is potential for this to become a long-term placement for the right SEND Teacher. The successful SEND Teacher will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.

The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnosis of Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD / Profound multiple learning difficulties and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with additional needs / disabilities
• Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours
• Qualified Teacher Satus or equivalent
