An established educational recruitment agency is seeking dedicated Primary Teachers for flexible supply roles starting January 2026. You will work across primary schools in Cheshire East, with opportunities for daily, short, and long-term placements. Candidates need UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) and good behaviour management skills. Commitment to safeguarding children is essential.

Qualifications

For teachers who are seeking flexible ad-hoc work, daily supply is the perfect solution! Even for those teachers who are perhaps looking for a smooth transition back into a long-term role, or an ECT who is looking to be introduced to prospective schools in the Cheshire East; you will ultimately have the opportunity to get back into the classroom!

What can Academics offer a Primary Teacher

Primary Teachers that apply to our supply opportunities will:
  • Have a proven track record of working with learners in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
  • Hold UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
  • A current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
  • Be happy to travel and to be able to get to our partnership schools in the Cheshire East by 8.30am with sometimes only 30-60 minute's notice for our on the day supply.

Please be aware for our long term opportunities you will be paid according to your teacher pay grade.
