A leading retail organization in Wellingborough seeks a dedicated Supply Chain Manager to optimize service levels and manage supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong organizational skills, possess a customer service orientation, and have a background in procurement or supply chain. This position offers opportunities for training and professional development.
To be successful in this role you will have to be an excellent communicator with ability to negotiate and influence at all levels for both internal and external stakeholders.
You will have excellent organisation and time management skills, be able to prioritise and keep to tight deadlines.
You’ll have a strong customer service orientation, good analytical skills, Intermediate/ Advanced knowledge of Excel, strong attention to detail.
Work on your own initiative with a pro-active approach to tasks and be able to think outside the box when it comes to problem solving.
Ideally, you will have had some previous procurement or supply chain/ retail experience and some knowledge of supply chain ordering systems, sales forecasting experience, but full training will be given.
GCSE or equivalent Maths and English grade C or above.
Desirable: Suitable supply chain professional qualification or an interest in studying for one or Educated to degree level
