Supply Chain Team Leader

Our Basingstoke Based client are looking for a Supply Chain Team Leader. The Supply Chain Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing and optimising both sales and procurement order processes within the organisation. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, customer service, and procurement operations. Experience in leading teams and driving process improvements is essential to the role.

Salary and Benefits

Duties
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales and procurement order specialists.
  • Assign tasks to team members, set goals, and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee the entire sales order process.
  • Align customer demand forecasting to facilitate financial planning.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order processing, order confirmation, and customer communication.
  • Support engineering change control procedures.
  • Collaborate with various teams to resolve order-related issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation and utilisation of order management and procurement systems
  • Manage the procurement order process, including purchase requisition creation, supplier selection, order placement,
    and supplier auditing.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and timely delivery of materials and components to support production.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve order-related issues and maintain strong relationships
