A leading technology firm in Reading is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to manage procurement governance and provide support across supply chain functions. The role involves managing key stakeholders, ensuring compliance, and promoting best practices in a transforming environment. You will be part of an exciting phase of new investments and enhancements in systems and tools, with responsibilities including data management and delivering training to enhance SCM compliance. Salary ranges from £36,000 to £45,000, with flexible working options available.
We have a great opportunity for a Supply Chain Specialist with foundational knowledge of procurement and governance to provide specialist support to the Commercial (Supply Chain) function across processes, systems, supplier management, governance and reporting.
As the Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and engaging with your allocated business function (Tower), ensuring pipeline accuracy and appropriate engagement at the correct level using the correct tools to ensure governance of procurement is adhered to, as required by internal governance and public procurement regulations.
You should have previous stakeholder management experience and the ability to influence. What makes this role interesting is we are at the start of a new chapter, with lots of investment, into Commercial, including new tools and systems to be introduced. We are seeking individuals who are well organised, capable of managing multiple work streams, with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Location - Reading
Salary starting from £36,000 to £45,000 dependant on experience
