A leading bakery company in Glenfield seeks a Supply Chain Shift Planner to produce and manage production plans efficiently. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in production planning, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a good understanding of supply chain processes. Shift Pattern: 4 on 3 off (Wed - Sat). Working Hours rotating weekly: Week 1 - 7am‑5pm. Week 2 - 10am‑8pm. Location: Glenfield, LE3 8JR.
The supply chain department forms the central hub between suppliers, the warehouse, production, loading, hauliers, customers, hygiene, engineering and other external stakeholders. It is a key cornerstone that allows our operation to run effectively and efficiently, ensuring all parties know what is required from them and at what time. The role requires someone who is highly communicative, with strong interpersonal skills, to build good relationships with all areas. This person should have an eye for detail while keeping things simple and to the point.
