As a Supply Chain/Launch Quality Engineer, you'll be part of a high-performing team, committed to driving quality and innovation, to support sustained growth of our RFD Beaufort Ltd division, for new and existing products. Based at the Ellesmere Port facility, we are the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of life rafts, Marine Evacuation Systems (MES) and offshore rental PPE. We remain a leading supplier of fire solutions to the maritime industry and hold a market-leading position for Pilot Flight Equipment in the aerospace & defence market and know our customers value our innovation, quality and technical expertise.
Your New Role
We are looking for a Quality Engineer who is experienced and has got a good track record of working across and driving improvements for current production, supply chain and launch quality. You will play a pivotal role in developing new and existing processes, implementing systems and ensuring products exceed quality standards, meet safety regulations, delight customers and achieve on time delivery, with a chance to shape the future of manufacturing excellence.

What we're looking for
A degree in Engineering would be desirable. Quality experience across current production, supply chain and launch quality essential. An analytical mindset with a passion for quality, problem-solving and continuous improvement. Self-driven, flexible, adaptable, organised, uses initiative, who can work at pace under pressure. Awareness of AS9100 requirements. Training or experience in FMEA, MSA, APQP, or PPAP is highly advantageous. Proficiency in Excel and other tools; automotive sector experience is a bonus. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
