  • Prepare Requests for Quotes and ensure sourcing aligns with policies.
  • Raise and manage purchase requisitions and orders using SAP.
  • Post goods receipts and ensure timely processing of invoices.
  • Maintain procurement records and reporting dashboards.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery and order issues.
  • Support supplier performance reviews including KPIs and risk management.

Supply Chain & Governance Technician

Location: Brize Norton, Oxfordshire - minimum 60% on-site (hybrid)
Contract: Until December 2026 (with potential to extend)
Hours: 35 hours per week; Mon-Thu 08:00-16:15, Fri 08:00-13:00
Pay Rate: £30.00 per hour (Umbrella) / £22.43 per hour (PAYE)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

About the role

Carbon60's defence client has an exciting opportunity to support a major UK defence-related programme within a fast-paced Business Operations environment. You'll be central to procurement governance, supply chain coordination and supplier interface activities. Ideal for someone who excels in structured processes, stakeholder communication and operational delivery.

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare Requests for Quotes and ensure sourcing aligns with internal buying policies and governance requirements.
  • Raise and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders using SAP and MySupply.
  • Post goods receipts and ensure invoices are processed and paid promptly.
  • Maintain procurement records, order books and reporting dashboards.
  • Liaise daily with suppliers and internal teams to resolve delivery, paperwork and order issues.
