Supplier Account Manager

Flexible working - Manchester City Centre office / from home – Salary £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE)

StressFreeCarRental.com is a venture capital backed ecommerce scale-up about to disrupt the £40bn+ online car rental market. The business now has very ambitious plans for growth.

We are recruiting a Supplier Account Manager to manage our existing supplier relationships and recruit new suppliers to enhance our car rental product offering.

Your role will involve coordination with the Head of Business Development to align supplier priorities, managing relationships with existing suppliers whilst establishing priorities for supplier recruitment and contracting.

You will have experience in a similar role, preferably in the car rental industry.

The role will be a blend of work from home and office based (from our office in central Manchester). Foreign and domestic travel may also be required to meet with key supply partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Head of Business development to set priorities and targets.
  • Manage existing supplier relationships and performance, via regular video calls, in person meetings and event attendance.
  • Use existing tools to understand the performance of each supplier account and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Attend industry events to further develop your network and identify new supply opportunities.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • At least 2 years commercial experience, preferably within car rental or travel industry.
  • Good general IT skills including MS Office
  • An eye for detail and a basic understanding of commercial contracts
  • Good commercial and analytical skills with a focus on data driven decision making and prioritisation.
