Job summary

A leading consultancy in talent acquisition seeks candidates for a role emphasizing safety auditing in the Defence Nuclear context. The selected candidate will have significant experience working on diverse technical projects and be skilled in risk assessment methodologies. The ideal applicant will possess a degree in a relevant discipline along with Nuclear SQEP qualifications. Qualifications

  • Circa 4+ years experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Circa 4+ years in the Defence Nuclear Enterprise.
  • Recent experience as an Independent Safety Auditor/Advisor.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake detailed hazard and risk analysis.
  • Manage and deliver complex technical projects.
  • Facilitate HAZID and risk assessments.

Job description

Responsibilities

  • Detailed working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards including Defence Safety Authority, Defence Nuclear Safety Regulations and Naval Authority Certification.
  • Proven track record in the development of safety artefacts, including facilitating HAZID and risk assessments, development of safety cases, and supporting assessments.
  • Proven and recent experience of undertaking detailed hazard and risk analysis utilising such techniques as SWIFT, HAZOP, FMECA, FTA, LOPA, etc.
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering of complex technical projects and / or multiple concurrent technical projects
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering bids
  • Successful track record in providing business development support.

Required Skillset :

  • Nuclear SQEP
  • Circa 4+ years in a consultancy environment.
  • Circa 4+ years working in the Defence Nuclear Enterprise.
  • Recent experience in acting as an Independent Safety Auditor / Advisor
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining successful client relationships, securing enduring workstreams
  • Experience in staff management
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
  • Ideally, be a Chartered engineer, Member of a relevant professional institution.
