ABOUT THE ROLE- Work with the Group Style and Interiors Director to originate editorial stories for House Beautiful, ensuring ideas are planned for multi-channel publishing and repurposing to maximize reach and engagement, balancing editorial quality with brand and commercial priorities.
- Attend planning, scheduling, and production meetings with the Group Style and Interiors Director and collaborate closely with the HB Editor, Deputy Editor, and Daily Editor from concept to final approval of all content.
- Maintain a consistent tone across all content produced for print, websites, apps, newsletters, and social media, and ensure content is shared across channels to avoid duplication.
- Conceptualize and organize editorial shoots, taking responsibility for creating visual assets for print and digital, including videos.
- Support the Group Style and Interiors Director in creating visual assets and sourcing low-cost content, such as book extracts, PR stories, and archive features.
- Understand licensing partner relationships and product development, working with stakeholders to create bespoke shoots and content as needed.
- Manage a content calendar to oversee cross-platform content and use analytics tools to refine content strategy.
- Stay updated on interior trends to support editorial content, product development, and audience engagement.
- Manage budgets and schedules to ensure timely and on-budget content delivery.
- Represent Hearst UK and its values professionally and positively.
- Perform additional duties as required based on skills and company needs.
ABOUT YOU- Forward-thinking, aware of current trends to help future-proof the brand.
- Proven success in idea generation, pitching, and high-quality writing and editing.
- Strong visual sense with understanding of the target audience.
- Experience working on magazine brands at a senior level, capable of multitasking under pressure.
- Excellent team player with collaboration skills.
- Willingness to support the team and adapt priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working professionally with partners and representing brands externally.
