About the Role

The receptionist is crucial for creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth daily operations. They will undertake tasks including scheduling, managing office supplies, and maintaining a tidy reception area. They support all teams across the London studio, managing reception duties and assisting with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Welcoming staff and new starters to the studio.
  • Greeting visitors and notifying relevant parties promptly.
  • Monitoring and controlling access to the studio. Enforcing security protocol for external guests and compiling all necessary paperwork for access control.
  • Maintaining clean, organised reception, conference and screening areas.
  • Manage refreshments, working lunches and keep a comprehensive inventory.
  • Act as appointed first aider, fire marshal and key holder for the building, including responding to alarm call outs as and when required.
  • Answer and forward phone calls professionally.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, parking, mail and dog logs.
  • Manage access to the studio, including any parking and specific limited access arrangements.
  • Assist with in-house events as needed.
  • Report facilities issue promptly.
  • Attend scheduling and diary meetings and other internal meetings as required.

  • Undertaking any other duties as may be appropriate to the nature of the post, as agreed with the Head of Culture.

Job remuneration and hours: 40 hours a week.

General hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm.
