Job summary

A leading renewable energy company based in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join their Civils function. In this role, you will produce designs and calculations for substations and energy storage projects, helping shape an in-house civil engineering capability. The ideal candidate will have a BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering, relevant industry experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce civil and structural designs for substations.
• Design concrete bases and structural steelwork.
• Carry out structural calculations using industry software.
• Review investigations and recommend solutions.
• Prepare BoQs for subcontractor pricing and produce cost estimates.
