Role :
Location : Glasgow
Salary : £35,000 to £42,000
Ref : MB579
I am working with a small, well-established, structural design consultancy based in Glasgow.
The team is made up of experienced Structural Engineers and Technicians who largely work on the design of residential buildings, apartments blocks, schools, libraries, leisure centres and other mixed‑use building projects from inception through to completion stage.
Due to ongoing success and a healthy pipeline of work moving into 2026, our client is seeking a Structural Engineer with around 2 years’ (or more) UK experience, to join its team. This position will be assisting the building structures team (predominantly residential and mixed‑use buildings).
To be considered for this Structural Engineer role you will have gained a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have gained demonstrable experience from within a Consultancy. You will likely have a working knowledge of CAD, TEKLA / TEDDs and perhaps REVIT, and be able to design in contemporary materials. Previous experience working on residential and commercial buildings would be beneficial. You will work well as part of a close‑knit design team and feel confident preparing structural design calculations.
For this Structural Engineer role our client is offering a competitive salary, 25 days leave plus bank holidays, private medical insurance, discretionary bonus schemes, workplace pension, ability to use works company car for site visits, payment of professional subscription, support to become Chartered and more!
The office is a vibrant, yet relaxed, a friendly team made up of like‑minded people and the hope is the team will continue to grow further over the next 12 months.
