Overview

Experienced Junior Building Structures Design Engineer. Permanent position in London. Salary £36000 - £40,000.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a design engineer on a range of building structures projects including stadia, hotels, multi-storey residential structures and artistic installations.
• Design using traditional materials with hand calculations and design software.
• Attend site meetings and design meetings; liaise with contractors as directed by senior team members.
• Develop into project engineer within the team; take on increasing responsibility on projects.

Qualifications

• Outstanding academic background (2:1 or better MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering).
• At least 12 months experience with a UK-based structural consultancy on similar projects as a design/graduate engineer.
