A family-run structural design practice is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their friendly team in Rickmansworth. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in buildings design, especially in the residential sector. Responsibilities include running projects and communicating effectively with clients and architects. The practice values diversity and encourages applicants from all backgrounds. Competitive salary range is £35k-£55k, and proximity to the office is essential.
Structural Engineer, Herts WD3, £35k-£55k. Family run long established small structural design practice require an additional structural engineer to join their happy team. This expansion is due to increasing workload. The role would suit an engineer with a minimum of 3 years of buildings design experience, ideally with experience in the residential sector. Ability to use Autocad would be helpful.
The practice is small and very friendly, currently consisting of 6 Engineers and 1 Technician. You should be able to design in all the main materials. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role will include running your own projects, dealing with clients and architects.
The station is within easy walking distance from the office. No current or future visa sponsorship can be offered, so you must have the full right to work in the UK long term and live within reasonable commuting distance.
