About the Role

My client is looking for a talented and driven Structural Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years’ consultancy experience to join their growing structural team. You’ll be working across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential projects, supporting senior engineers in the design, coordination, and delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer ready to take the next step — managing their own projects, liaising directly with clients, and contributing to an expanding portfolio of exciting developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver structural designs in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
  • Produce calculations, drawings, and reports using modern design software.
  • Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and clients.
  • Contribute to site inspections and technical reviews.
  • Support the use of BIM / Revit and promote digital workflows.
  • Manage time efficiently and deliver projects within deadlines.
Requirements
  • BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a UK consultancy environment.
  • Proficient in software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Revit, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Working toward ICE or IStructE chartership status (preferred)
