Strategic Risk Manager
Devon & Cornwall Police – Police Headquarters, Exeter.

Salary and employment

Salary: Grade 10 – £57,186 starting, rising yearly up to £62,205 per annum (based on a 37‑hour week).

Employment type: Permanent.

Working arrangement: Hybrid – a mix of remote and on‑premise work.

Hours: 37 hours per week (part‑time accommodated).

Allowances: None.

About the role

Devon & Cornwall Police are looking for a dynamic, motivated risk manager to take the Force’s risk management function to the next level, working closely with colleagues in Dorset Police through the Strategic Alliance to develop and implement the Force’s risk appetite and undertake risk management system developments. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of enterprise risk management, excellent organisational and communication skills, and be able to work with colleagues at all levels of the organisation, including members of the Force Executive, within the unique operating environment of modern policing.
