We're looking for someone with a sharp commercial mindset, a strategic approach to problem-solving, and the confidence to work independently. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and who wants to help shape the future of the sports business.

AS OUR STRATEGIC PROJECT MANAGER, YOU WILL...

  • Partner with the UK Managing Director and Global Business Development team to develop and drive forward key strategic initiatives
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across UK and global offices to ensure successful execution of strategic plans
  • Play a central role in business development efforts by building robust business models and commercial cases for new ventures and partnerships
  • Conduct in-depth trend, market, and competitor analysis at both national and international levels
  • Create compelling presentations, reports, and tender responses to support rightsholder acquisitions, sponsorship pitches, partnership opportunities, and internal projects
  • Act as a key point of contact between rightsholder clients and internal SPORTFIVE teams, ensuring clear alignment across stakeholders during business development and strategic planning
  • Oversee projects from initial conception through to full implementation, ensuring strategic objectives are met
  • Support the UK leadership team with medium and long-term business planning and performance reporting

WHAT YOU'LL BRING...

  • An ambitious determination to shape the future of SPORTFIVE and contribute meaningfully from day one
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial acumen, with the ability to think critically and communicate ideas clearly
  • Confident working independently, quick to learn, and comfortable forming your own well-informed opinions
  • Collaborative and personable, with a track record of building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • A willingness to listen and learn, and keen to develop
  • Proven experience excelling in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with a natural ability to write clear, persuasive materials
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM or sales management tools is desirable but not essential.
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, economics, sports management) is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience living, studying, or working abroad is an advantage; intercultural fluency and strong interpersonal skills are essential
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, Europe, and internationally as required

As well as the opportunity to join an organisation that invests in development and rewards its people, provides an enjoyable working environment, and offers genuine responsibility and scope to shape a role and add real value, you'll also get...

  • 25 days annual leave + an additional gifted day over the Christmas period
  • Full Vitality health cover including dental, optical and mental health support
  • Enhanced family leave entitlements
  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme
  • Electric car scheme
  • Hybrid, flexible working model (4 days in the office)
