Job description
Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Buyer to work for a world leading manufacturer of digital engineering technology, based out of a state of the art manufacturing facility in Huntingdon. You'll be joining an established industry player with over 30 years of experience, with products that are used in a variety of hi-tech industries across the globe. Responsibilities
  • Reporting into the Procurement manager and joining a small team of direct/indirect buyers and a demand planner, your role is critical to ensure the successful management of suppliers, producing cost saving measures and driving NPI.
  • With a PSL of over 500 suppliers, you will need to be able to combine the management of suppliers alongside day-to-day strategic buying and procurement responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • 3-4 years' experience within a buying function in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Technical Qualification: CIPS or relevant qualification
