To oversee and carry out the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of all materials.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in running or managing a stores operation, with strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate stock control and smooth workflow throughout the goods in and goods out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the receipt, inspection, and booking-in of all incoming goods and materials.
  • Ensure all deliveries are checked against purchase orders and recorded accurately in the inventory system (Simpro).
  • Organise and store materials in the correct locations, maintaining clear labelling and stock rotation practices.
  • Pick, pack, label up and prepare outgoing goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Ensure the returns process is followed correctly and promptly.
  • Complete regular cycle counts of stock.
  • Liaise with procurement.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stores.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for stock control, storage layout, and process efficiency.
Requirements
  • Experience running or managing stores / warehouse operations, including both goods in and goods out processes.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and materials management.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the stores function.
  • Good understanding of health and safety in a warehouse environment.
